Trade Compliance Coordinator

At Busy Season Staffing Solutions, we seek a highly skilled Trade Compliance Coordinator to join our team. This role involves communicating effectively with various stakeholders, including carriers, customs agents, clients, and other involved parties, to ensure seamless cargo processing and timely release without incurring demurrage/detention charges.

We are looking for an individual who can perform shipment tracking and tracing, anticipate potential delays or issues, and proactively communicate service-level impacts. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be responsible for printing invoices payable to brokers, agents, carriers, and other entities.

The Trade Compliance Coordinator will oversee and prepare all import documentation, including MBL/HBL, 10+2 forms, commercial invoices, packing lists, PR Treasury Department (Hacienda) documents, and others, in compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also involves filling and printing arrival notices, consignee pre-ale1t, pick-up orders, and delivery orders.

Key qualifications for this position include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in trade compliance or a related field. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential for effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

As a Trade Compliance Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills and expertise will make a significant impact. We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
