">Key Responsibilities:

- Support the development and implementation of risk governance policies, procedures, and programs;">
- Conduct risk assessments and analyze data to identify areas of improvement;">
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain effective risk mitigation strategies;">
- Assist in the review and update of existing risk management frameworks and guidelines;">
- Provide support for regulatory compliance initiatives and ongoing risk assessment projects;">
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to risk governance activities;">
Requirements:
">- ">
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field;">
- Three (3) years of experience in conducting risk assessments, data analytics, model risk management, compliance, and/or legal, preferably in the banking industry;">
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills, including knowledge of applicable laws and regulations;">
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders;">
- Proficient in MS Office 365 and experience with data management tools, such as Power Pivot and Power BI, is desired;">
- Able to work effectively in a hybrid environment and adapt to changing priorities;">
- Possesses strong problem-solving and project management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines;">
- Familiarity with budget administration, resource allocation, and organizational policies and regulations is an asset;">
Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in risk management or a related field;">
- Experience working in a similar role within the banking industry;">
- Knowledge of popular financial products and services offered by Popular Bank;">

Working Conditions:
">This is a full-time position based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with a competitive salary range of $65,000-$85,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be required to work in a dynamic environment, with opportunities for growth and professional development.
