Enhancement Manager

About the Role:

The Enhancement Manager is a key position at BrightView, responsible for scheduling and directing personnel and resources to provide quality, cost-effective enhancement services to clients. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to support Account Managers in estimating, design, and client meetings. The Enhancement Manager will oversee a commercial landscape portfolio and multiple service teams, providing day-to-day operational scheduling and guidance. Key responsibilities include understanding client needs, managing landscape enhancement services, inspecting properties, and implementing BrightView policies and procedures. This role requires a minimum of a 2-year degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience, as well as a minimum of 3 years of prior customer service, management, and leadership experience. The ideal candidate will be able to obtain and maintain a PLANET Certification (Installation of Hard and Softscapes).

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand client needs via regular communication with the Account Manager(s)
• Manage all landscape enhancement services, including coordination of materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors
• Inspect properties prior to scheduled service to prepare a specific action plan
• Understand irrigation systems, identify necessary repairs or adjustments, and communicate recommendations
• Monitor all aspects of the landscape and identify insect or disease problems
• Perform hands-on work with crews as needed
• Implement and enforce BrightView policies and procedures
• Work with the Branch Manager to identify staffing needs and prepare daily crew schedules
• Ensure proper paperwork is completed for employee changes and hires
• Communicate with, counsel, train, discipline, review, and develop growth plans for employees
• Focus on safety and monitor safety records
• Maintain and manage administrative systems, including time sheets, job databases, and service schedules
• Order materials as needed and monitor costs and deliveries
• Assist the Branch Manager in enhancement sales tasks as required

Requirements:

• Minimum of a 2-year degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of prior customer service, management, and leadership experience
• Obtain and maintain a PLANET Certification (Installation of Hard and Softscapes)
