In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our procurement process, working closely with our Purchasing Manager to develop and implement effective purchasing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage purchase orders (POs) for goods and services, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the availability of necessary materials for operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and track the status of orders to prevent delays.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to optimize cost-efficiency.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, including inventory levels, costs, and supplier performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
