Responsibilities:
  • Develop and review mechanical design plans for multiple projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant mechanical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with civil design engineers and construction teams to integrate mechanical and civil designs.
  • Conduct detailed calculations and simulations to validate mechanical design concepts.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project managers and other team members.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  • Identify and resolve design and implementation issues.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and documentation.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements and industry trends in mechanical engineering.

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design for construction projects.
Skills: Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and structural components. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Familiarity with renewable energy projects. Project management experience. Certifications: Valid Driver's License. Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT), PROCORE user Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP), and Certified Construction Manager (CCM ). Language: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is mandatory.
