**IT Director Job Description**


At Dream An Blessing Consulting Llc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Director to oversee the organization's overall IT strategy, aligning it with business objectives. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of all IT systems and infrastructure.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement IT Strategy: Develop and implement the organization's IT strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Oversee IT Projects: Oversee the planning, execution, and management of all IT projects, from conception to completion, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Provide Technical Guidance: Provide strategic guidance and expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and security measures.
  • Lead IT Team: Lead and develop a high-performing IT team, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Collaborate with Department Heads: Collaborate closely with other department heads to identify technology needs, evaluate options, and recommend innovative solutions to improve business processes and drive growth.
  • Manage Vendor Relationships: Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Emerging Trends: Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends, evaluate their potential impact on the organization, and make recommendations for adoption.
  • Monitor IT Budget: Monitor and track IT budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources and accurate financial reporting.
  • Address IT-Related Issues: Address and resolve IT-related issues and challenges, providing timely support and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.


Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably as an IT Director.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, software, networks, security, and project management methodologies.
  • Industry Regulations: Strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements such as data protection, cybersecurity, and privacy.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate teams. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated track record of successful IT project management, delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or ITIL are a plus.
