Machine Operator

Job Overview

Lifetime Brands is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and stocking machines to meet company standards for safety, security, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet company hourly production rates
• Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
• Bring problems to the attention of management
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Ability to read and count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly
• Ability to follow direction
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Physical Requirements

• Ability to tolerate required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as work gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, and dust masks on a continuous basis
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Physical stamina to be able to endure a good deal of walking, bending, and lifting
• Ability to use job-related equipment
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
