Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operational payment procedures and provide guidance to team members.
- Support the Claims Payment procedures as a backup when required.
- Provide exceptional customer service regarding accounts payable tasks, including payment status to vendors, invoice receipt, and request modifications for vendor information.
- Prepare and submit payment requests and check requisitions.
- Assist in the completion of customer setup forms and confirm customer setup.
- Reverse and void payments in alignment with company policies.
- Assist in reversing check requisitions from the Claims Department, if applicable.
- Adjust claim requisitions that create errors in the system.
- Perform application, printing, and upload of operational payments for entities managed in PR (AIGPR and AIGLAII) and enter in the correspondent bank platform.
- Prepare monthly journal vouchers and JV regarding currency conversion.
- Monitor record retention digitalization process for cash disbursements and JV's.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a related area of study.
- Working knowledge of accounts payable and related processes in accounting or finance departments.
- Background in financial statement analysis with emphasis on expense management.
- At least some experience in forecasting/modeling and knowledge of business performance metrics.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during peak times.
- Strong communication, time management, detailed, and team-oriented skills.
