As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our equipment at customer facilities. You will diagnose equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and resolve complex problems by troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical repair, with experience working on combustion engines, mechanical and electrical systems, and diagnostic devices. You should be comfortable using hand and power shop tools, equipment, and software, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

As a Tennant Field Service Professional, you will have the opportunity to work independently, own your territory, and collaborate with internal partners to support your success. You will also have the chance to work on a variety of equipment, including robotic Tennant products, and develop your skills in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing preventative maintenance and resolving complex problems
  • Diagnosing equipment issues and determining what is needed to get the equipment running again
  • Providing quality communication and craftsmanship to our customers
  • Creating and maintaining records of all service activities and business reporting documentation
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of all Tennant Company property
