Job Description:
Job SummaryThe Room Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms, while adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms on a regular schedule, daily.
- Remove all trash and dirty linen from public spaces, hallways, and rooms.
- Keep all hallways, public areas, and closets clean, neat, and vacuumed.
- Restock cart with cleaning and sanitization supplies.
- Replenish chemical bottles.
- Ensure overall cleanliness satisfaction for all rooms, public spaces, and guest touch points.
- Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand during entire shift.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests.
