Warehouse Associate

Loading and Unloading Responsibilities

As a member of the Decore-Ative Specialties team, the Warehouse Associate will efficiently load and unload goods and materials from trucks, containers, and other delivery vehicles. The associate must ensure all items are handled properly to avoid damage and report any discrepancies or issues to the Shipping Supervisor.

Inventory Management

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for verifying and recording the quantity and condition of items during loading and unloading. This includes reporting any discrepancies or damages to the Shipping Supervisor.

Organization and Documentation

The associate must organize and stack products and materials in designated areas to facilitate easy access and prevent clutter. Additionally, the Warehouse Associate will complete and maintain accurate shipping and receiving logs and records, following company procedures for documenting any discrepancies or issues.

Equipment Operation and Safety

The Warehouse Associate will operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as required. The associate must ensure the equipment is in good working condition and report any malfunctions. Furthermore, the Warehouse Associate will adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper lifting techniques.

Team Collaboration and Housekeeping

The Warehouse Associate will work collaboratively with team members and other departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of shipping and receiving tasks. Additionally, the associate must maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
