Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Procurement Specialist to join our team at Pharmalex. This role will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating pricing and terms and conditions for Purchase orders, contracts and blanket orders required for various commodities, supplies and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing possible suppliers and contractors for goods and services
  • Negotiating, placing and expediting MRO orders with suppliers
  • Receiving, evaluating and processing the purchase requisitions for contract services, capital equipment, RO's and inventory material, following established company policies and procedures
  • Generating purchase contracts and blanket orders
  • Maintaining Purchasing's record database (JDE System) integrity
  • Assisting in design and implementation of new systems
  • Performing special projects to identify cost opportunities and savings
  • Participating in supplier partnership programs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Fully bilingual
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Computer literate
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
