Viatris Pharmaceuticals LLC is seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist QATSC to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet budget targets and optimize laboratory requisitions and inventory processes.
  • Identify and implement cost improvements and avoidance measures.
  • Participate in the preparation, analysis, and control of assigned portions of the annual budget.
  • Identify and implement new technology, systems, and equipment for QC Laboratories.
  • Provide technical support and training on new testing, systems, and techniques.
  • Coordinate activities required on the Laboratories, including equipment calibration, PM, and non-routine services.
  • Support method validation and/or methods improvements activities.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Configure, validate, and implement LIMS objects and/or structures.
  • Support the coordination of activities required from QC in the transfer of new products and/or existing products.
  • Develop protocols, reports, and specifications.
  • Review and approve regulatory documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, chemistry, natural science, engineering, or other closely related area.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with similar responsibilities.
  • Knowledgeable in Quality Systems and proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle several priorities simultaneously and excellent negotiation skills, leadership, and analytical thinking.
  • Fully bilingual, both verbal and written (English and Spanish).
