We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to support our accounting department in performing various financial tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling statements, and managing vendor/customer inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, and perform bank reconciliations and assist in cash management activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or currently enrolled in an Accounting degree program.
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Spanish and English).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
