Job Summary
The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for the analytical review of all of the Finance and Accounting Support functions for a major field operation, including Inventory Management and Control Financial Analysis and Planning, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Billing. Will serve as the financial check and balance as Ryder makes customer commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis and Planning: Develop and implement financial plans and forecasts to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including management and external parties.
- Inventory Management and Control: Analyze and optimize inventory levels to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable: Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Financial Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
- Seven (07) years or more Managing Finance and Accounting (including Inventory Management and Control, Financial Analysis and Planning, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Billing) required.
- Candidate must have functional knowledge of the WMS systems. intermediate required.
- Must have a working understanding of the Supply Chain Management and logistics process based on location; intermediate level required.
- Advanced computer/spreadsheet knowledge (Excel) advanced level required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Travel - as necessary (up to 20%).
Applicants from California, Connecticut, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York City, and Washington - Salary is determined based on internal equity; internal salary ranges; market data/ranges; applicant's skills; prior relevant experience; certain degrees or certifications, etc. The salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000. Salaries may be supplemented with a bonus as applicable and/or as business conditions allow.
