About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Director, East to join our team at Sanofi. As a key member of our US Rare Disease commercial leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing account plans to drive growth and revenue in the rare disease market.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account plans to drive growth and revenue in the rare disease market
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and qualify opportunities within assigned key accounts
  • Develop and drive growth strategies, team-to-team alignment, and executive relationships with key customers
  • Conduct coaching and strategy sessions with account teams to facilitate co-creation of customer value and ensure ongoing internal alignment and account growth
  • Oversee and coach Strategic Account Managers within assigned key accounts to ensure alignment with strategic account objectives, driving sales performance, and fostering strong client relationships

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a focus on rare diseases or specialized therapeutic areas
  • Robust network development abilities, with a track record of establishing connections, referrals, and infrastructure for key accounts
  • Broad understanding of health system business, decision-making processes, and market trends with a proven track record of accessing C-suite to D-suite decision makers
  • Proven ability to translate health system market knowledge and develop strategic plans with internal stakeholders

Salary Range: $171,000 - $248,000. In addition to sales incentive, all compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
