Job Description
We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team at Buscojobs Puerto Rico. As a DevOps Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient software deployment and minimizing downtime.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
  • Monitor and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to support scalable application development.
  • Develop and enforce robust security measures to protect against potential threats.
  • Work collaboratively with the software development team to provide effective tools for development, testing, and release of high-quality software.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing, evaluating and adopting new tools to improve existing automation and release processes.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a senior role or leading small to mid-size projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong data analysis and debugging skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple, changing priorities.

Preferred Skills:
  • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
  • Strong software engineering experience.
  • Strong Linux administration and scripting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes).
  • Experience working with monitoring tools, like Datadog and New Relic.
