Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Store Protection Specialist to join our team at Ross Stores. As a Store Protection Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers and associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a visible presence at store entrances and exits to deter theft and fraud
  • Monitor sales floor for potential theft indicators and address them as directed by store leadership
  • Partner with store leadership to ensure compliance with loss prevention directives and minimize operational shortage
  • Develop and maintain great relationships with internal and external partners
  • Represent the Company brand at all times and maintain a professional appearance
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent required, AA degree preferred
  • One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred
  • One year loss prevention/security training preferred
  • Active Security Guard License preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the store team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict
