Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in threat intelligence analysis and assessments, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Enhance the Threat and Fraud Intelligence program by gathering data from diverse sources, analyzing it effectively, and disseminating it into actionable tasks to improve the overall security posture.
- Provide analysis of new and emerging threats, including malware outbreaks, zero-day vulnerabilities, and other major security events.
- Conduct threat assessments on new systems or applications, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.
- Proactively search for signs of malicious activities within the organization's network and systems, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending mitigations.
- Support team activities during incident response, collaborating with colleagues to resolve technical and procedural issues.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Three years of relevant experience in threat intelligence analysis and assessments, threat reporting, fraud intelligence, and the use of TIPs.
- Strong technical acumen, with knowledge of Cyber Security, Information Security, and Information Technology concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster trusting relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to write technical instructions using programs and technology, with a robust knowledge of applicable local and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines.
