Senior Legal Counsel Opportunity

This is a remote opportunity that offers a unique blend of legal expertise and strategic business alignment. As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with business partners at all levels, both locally and globally, to align legal strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business partners to align legal strategies with business objectives
  • Provide legal guidance on regulatory matters such as Anti-Kickback Statutes, False Claims Act, antitrust, and transparency laws
  • Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
  • Assess and weigh multiple factors when advising on decisions or courses of action
  • Develop and implement company-wide or function-specific policies, processes, and training programs
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and contracting procedures
Requirements:
  • JD from an accredited U.S. law school
  • Minimum 5 years of in-house legal counsel experience advising multinational medical device companies in areas of intellectual property, compliance, commercial contracts, antitrust, privacy, healthcare fraud and abuse, FDA regulatory, corporate, and M&A
  • Extensive experience with commercial contracts, GPOs, and IDNs agreements
  • Expertise in healthcare fraud and abuse laws, including False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback Statute
  • CA bar license required
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (5-15%)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and discretion
