Bereavement Support Specialist

With a strong focus on customer service, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to families and friends during their most difficult times.

This role involves participating in opening and closing ceremonies for interments, entombments, inurnments, and disinterment services, as well as the installation of memorials and markers. You will also perform grounds and facilities maintenance, ensuring that our cemeteries remain beautiful and well-maintained spaces for reflection and remembrance.

• Prepare gravesites and conduct interment verification procedures with precision and care.
• Install foundations, memorials, and markers, taking pride in creating lasting tributes for loved ones.
• Perform regular maintenance tasks, including grounds upkeep and facility repairs.
• Handle work orders from client families, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless execution of services and events.

As a Bereavement Support Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with funeral directors, family service counselors, and other support staff to provide comprehensive support to families and friends.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 months of experience operating standard equipment, with a proven track record of safety and efficiency.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in varying weather conditions.

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience, plus opportunities for professional growth and development within our organization.
