Key Responsibilities- Provide a high level of patient service and satisfaction through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Support all staff members and patients in the office by answering phones, handling patient inquiries, making appointments, and assisting with treatment plans.
- Operate in a team-based environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in handling requests and projects assigned by other staff and/or the Office Manager.
- Provide exceptional customer service through greeting, scheduling appointments, and assisting with inquiries and phone calls.
- Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere by acknowledging, smiling, and greeting patients upon arrival and dismissal.
- Demonstrate responsiveness by promptly addressing patient questions and concerns in alignment with DCA Policies.
- Answer telephones, schedule appointments, maintain appointment books, confirm appointments, and follow up on no shows/cancellations.
- Register patients on sign-in sheets, post charges and payments to patient accounts, and check voice-mail on a daily basis.
- Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients.
- Previous experience in a dental, medical, or other healthcare office is highly valued.
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.
- Experience answering telephones and demonstrating exceptional customer service skills are essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional patient service.
