We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Planner I to join our team at ReaderLink, North America's largest book distributor. As a Supply Planner I, you will play a critical role in creating, managing, and maintaining purchase orders and inventory across all Readerlink distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and maintain purchase orders across all publishers and Readerlink distribution centers to ensure on-time and accurate delivery.
- Review and resolve quarantine inventory to ensure seamless operations.
- Enter and maintain items into our F&O system to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Communicate product discrepancies between Supply Planning, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with our publishers and licensors.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required.
- Previous buying or inventory experience is desired, but not required.
- Experience with working with the F&O system is preferred.
- Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred.
- High energy level with the ability to keep multiple projects on schedule.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to speak to all levels of the organization and to customers.
- A competitive salary range of $55,000.00 - $65,000.00.
