Quality Consulting Group is a leading company in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, and manufacturing industries. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Design Automation Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and apply advanced CAD software engineering methods, theories, and research techniques to investigate and solve complex technical problems.
- Evaluate architecture and hardware limitations to plan and execute technical projects for CAD software development.
- Select new approaches and implement CAD software engineering applications and design specifications.
- Design and develop routines and utility programs to enhance system efficiency.
- Prioritize tasks to prepare design specifications, analysis, and recommendations for presentation and approval.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Four years of experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Mid-level control/systems engineering skills with experience connecting to machines controlled by PLCs and PCs, as well as knowledge of Kepware and Ignition.
- The ability to connect new sensors and determine the best way to retrieve data from these sensors or send it back to the machine PLC.
- Knowledge of databases and PC applications, particularly Telegraf.
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLC and statistical analytical methods such as SPC, SQC, and DOE.
- Automation and control engineering skills, including machine integration.
