Job Description ***POSTION BASED IN LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK*** Experienced Porter/ Housekeeper- Exclusive Private Golf Club on Long Island, New York   **Great Pay, Free Flight, Free Housing, Free Food Benefits** Our club is located on beautiful Long Island near to New York City, premier vineyards, craft breweries, ocean beaches, and the Hamptons.   We are looking for experienced Housekeepers to join our team for the 2025 season, starting in early March and ending on November 30th.    We provide exceptional customer service, so we expect our staff to maintain the highest levels of professionalism with our esteemed club members and co-workers.
Essential Duties: Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain our private club in a clean and orderly manner.
Duties include cleaning rooms and halls, vacuuming, mopping, moving furniture and setting up dining areas for events.
Additional Responsibilities: Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items.
Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
Move tables, chairs and other furniture to help set up for events.
Requirements Must be able to read, write, and speak English Must have a high school diploma or GED and 1-3 years of related experience and/or training.
Commitment to complete short-term seasonal contract, which runs from March to November 30, 2025.
