About the Job

We are seeking experienced Housekeepers/Porters to join our team at Freedom Resource Group's private golf club on Long Island. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in customer service, housekeeping, and time management.

Responsibilities

As a Housekeeper/Porter, your duties will include:

• 
  
• Cleaning and maintaining the club's facilities, including rooms, halls, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas
  
• Providing exceptional customer service to our esteemed club members and co-workers
  
• Performing additional responsibilities such as emptying wastebaskets, replenishing supplies, and maintaining storage areas and carts
  
• Dusting and polishing furniture and equipment, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing floors, and washing windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork as needed
  
• Moving tables, chairs, and other furniture to set up for events
  

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• 
  
• Able to read, write, and speak English
  
• High school diploma or GED
  
• 1-3 years of related experience and/or training
  
• Commitment to complete short-term seasonal contract from March to November 30th
  
• Valid ID and ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug test
  
• Reliable work history
