*Job Summary*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our financial team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software to support our financial services operations effectively.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
* Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Perform bank reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
* Manage accrual accounting processes, including the recording of debits and credits in accordance with double-entry bookkeeping principles.
* Analyze cash flow trends to provide insights for financial planning and decision-making.
* Utilize accounting software QB for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
* Collaborate with team members on projects to ensure proper financial management.
*Experience*
* Proven experience in accounting or a related field is essential.
* Strong understanding of account analysis, accrual accounting, debits and credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and cash flow analysis.
* Proficiency in accounting software QB is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with financial services regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
* Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
