Job Overview
We are seeking a responsible, bilingual (English/Spanish), customer-focused Sales Associate to join our smoke shop team. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, basic computer knowledge, sales experience, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service in English and Spanish.
* Operate POS systems, process payments, and handle cash accurately.
* Perform cash register opening, closing, and daily cash reconciliation.
* Assist customers with product information and recommendations.
* Promote products, upsell, and maximize sales opportunities.
* Assist customers with medical cannabis card applications and renewals through authorized procedures.
* Maintain organized shelves, displays, and inventory.
* Verify customer identification and age when required.
* Keep the store clean, organized, and secure.
* Answer phone calls and assist with customer inquiries.
* Follow company policies and daily operational procedures.
Requirements
* Bilingual (English and Spanish) – Required.
* Basic computer and POS system skills.
* Strong customer service and sales abilities.
* Cash handling and basic math skills.
* Responsible, punctual, honest, and detail-oriented.
* Ability to work independently and multitask.
* Flexible availability for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Previous retail or cashier experience preferred.
