Sales Associate – Fitness Equipment Retail
Our client, the leading fitness equipment retailer and distributor in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, representing top brands such as Life Fitness, Bowflex, Schwinn Fitness, and NordicTrack, is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join their team.
Position Overview
As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of the store, delivering an outstanding customer experience while providing expert guidance on technical fitness equipment. Your role is to help customers find the equipment best suited to their fitness goals, while also supporting day-to-day store operations.
Responsibilities
* Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service from entry to exit
* Create a positive impression through an energetic attitude, clear communication, and a professional appearance in accordance with the dress code
* Maintain a clean, organized store and backroom environment
* Advise customers, in person and by phone, on the use and features of technical fitness equipment
* Process transactions efficiently at the cash wrap
* Capture customer leads and manage sales opportunities through the company CRM
* Receive service requests and route them to the appropriate team member
* Support additional duties as assigned by store management
Requirements
* Excellent sales and communication skills in both Spanish and English
* Ability to learn and retain detailed technical product information
* Punctual and reliable with a flexible availability, including *Saturdays*
* Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
