Structural Designer

This is a unique opportunity to utilize your creativity and innovation to develop CAD 3D design models of steel structures and concrete foundations used to produce 2D drawing deliverables.

• Produce structural drawings that meet or exceed customer requirements, while maintaining quality, consistency, and accountability.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical designers to resolve clashes within the 3D model, optimizing the overall design.
• Adapt to a wide range of technologies in power generation, mining, oil & gas, and renewables.

• Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design Technology preferred
• CAD certificate required if non-degreed
• Previous relevant experience required

• Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Tekla, Revit, SmartPlant 3D)
• Knowledge of American Concrete Institute (ACI) for foundation design
• Knowledge of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) manual for steel design
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
• Attention to detail

• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English (read, speak, and write)
