Job Summary
The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining the security and safety of employees and patrons throughout the entire Casino facility during their assigned shift. This includes escorting internal money transfers and ensuring compliance with Casino policy and Rules.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard Casino assets and ensure their integrity.
- Comply with Casino policy and Rules, including Standard Operating Procedures.
- Prepare and submit reports on patron accidents and security incidents.
- Escort chips, tokens, and cash to ensure secure transportation.
- Collect and transport Drop Boxes to storage areas.
- Administer minor first aid when required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
- Flexible and long hours may be required.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions.
- Maintain regular attendance and adhere to Highgate Hotel Standards.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
- Comply with Highgate Hotel Standards and regulations.
- Maximize productivity and identify problem areas for improvement.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
