CNC Machinist Job Description

Amphenol Aerospace is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in Mesa, AZ. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for performing machining duties in a manufacturing environment, working closely with the Machining Supervisor and production team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Knowledgeable in CNC machining and secondary equipment
  • Assist Production Supervisors with KPI requirements (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost)
  • Active participant and advocate of Lean & 5S culture company-wide
  • Follows in-process quality inspections and works with team members to ensure total quality
  • Aids in feedback to planning & engineering to optimize productivity
  • Provides translation service for team members when required
  • Ensures usage of correct gaging, hand measuring tools, and metrology equipment to deliver high-quality components
  • Supports preventative maintenance of equipment and reports machine issues to production supervisor
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of lathe production experience on CNC and related production equipment
  • Read and understand job layouts, blueprints, schematics, and work from written and verbal job instructions
  • Strict time management with self and other employees to support a productive work environment
  • Excellent attendance
  • Ability to communicate with and collaborate with team members
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to work on a busy manufacturing floor
