Job Title: CNC Machinist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our production team at Amphenol Aerospace Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing machining duties with the manufacturing environment, working closely with the Machining Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

- Must be knowledgeable in CNC machining and secondary equipment
- Assist Production Supervisors with all aspects of KPI requirements (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost)
- Participate in Lean & 5S culture company-wide
- Conduct quality inspections and work with team members to ensure total quality
- Translate service for team members when required
- Ensure proper usage of gaging, hand-measuring tools, and metrology equipment to deliver high-quality components
- Support preventative maintenance of equipment and report machine issues to production supervisors

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of lathe production experience on CNC & related production equipment
- Ability to read and understand job layouts, blueprints, and work from written and verbal job instructions
- Strict time management with self and other employees to support a productive work environment
- Excellent attendance
- Ability to communicate with and collaborate with team members
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to work on a busy manufacturing floor
