Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Recertification Specialist to join our team at First Realty Management Corp. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for processing annual and interim resident recertifications in accordance with HUD guidelines and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all annual and interim resident recertifications in accordance with HUD guidelines and company procedures.
  • Submit all subsidy-related transmissions to HUD and state agencies in accordance with established policies/procedures.
  • Provide general clerical support as needed.

Requirements:

  • Superior customer service and interpersonal relations skills.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Attention to detail, and excellent proofreading skills.
  • Knowledge of HUD guidelines pertaining to rent subsidy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) designation.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Recertification and affordable property experience.
