Forge Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Forge Assistant to join our team at Precision Castparts Corp. As a key member of our operations team, you will assist workers engaged in the fabrication of forged products by performing various duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup and operation of forging equipment
• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas
• Perform quality control checks on finished products
• Collaborate with production team members to ensure efficient workflow

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3-6 months of related experience or training preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety procedures and operating instructions
• Basic math skills and ability to work accurately

Work Environment: This role requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, vibration, and airborne particles. The ideal candidate will be able to work safely and efficiently in a team-oriented setting.
