We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer with expertise in earthquake engineering to join our team at Engeo Incorporated. As a key member of our team, you will work on a wide range of challenging projects, including seismic hazard analysis, ground motion modeling, and earthquake risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform seismic analyses, including ergodic and non-ergodic seismic hazard, ground-response, and ground-motion development for projects in the Western United States, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific.
- Lead seismic development of design recommendations for design and construction of private and public projects.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, subcontractors, government agencies, project managers, and peers.
- Thorough knowledge of earthquake engineering, including ground motion models, seismic source characterization, ergodic and non-ergodic seismic hazard analysis, time-history scaling and matching, and site-response analysis.
- Working knowledge of the software program HAZ45 or equivalent.
- Coding capability in Python and/or Matlab.
- Fundamental knowledge of geotechnical engineering or willingness and ability to learn.
- M.S. degree in a relevant field, PhD preferred.
- Proficiency in GIS experience.
- Robust writing and communicative skills.
Engeo Incorporated offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 and a dynamic work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
