Job Title: Production Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team at National Beverage. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our production lines, maintaining high-quality products, and adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, adjust, maintain, and configure processing equipment according to assigned specifications.
  • Perform visual inspections and complete documentation to ensure defect-free work.
  • Load corrugate, labels, bottles/cans, glue, carriers, etc., into appropriate machines.
  • Perform minor package change-overs on equipment as required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, including cleaning and clearing debris and materials.
  • Assist line mechanics in machinery repair or other tasks as needed.
  • Ensure all equipment is on and functioning properly prior to starting a run.
  • Monitor the machine while running and check for proper coding, graphics, and closures.
  • Verify flavor and size according to schedule and report any major defects to the Lead person and/or Manager.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience required.
  • Prior bottling/canning experience a plus.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Favorable background and drug test.
  • Able and willing to work a flexible Full Time schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to provide own transportation to various locations in organizational service areas, as required by duties.
Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Field positions will be exposed to various unfamiliar conditions where Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn and which may include, but are not limited to: manufacturing and warehouse plants, and other venues as directed by supervisor.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but increases significantly in warehouse and manufacturing plants.
