Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quantitative Analyst - Risk Model Expert to join our team at Buscojobs Puerto Rico.

About the Role:

  • Conduct in-depth validation of quantitative risk models and core system applications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and address model risks, ensuring effective challenge on the conceptual and technical soundness of models.
  • Perform complex mathematical analysis using statistical methods and techniques, including machine learning algorithms.
  • Evaluate model performance monitoring processes and conduct annual reviews to ensure optimal results.

About You:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, Data Science, Physics, or a quantitative field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in model implementation/validation/development, with a strong background in machine learning and statistical modeling.
  • Knowledge of BSA/AML/OFAC/Fraud systems or regulations is a plus.
