Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at Amphenol Borisch Technologies. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for performing various receiving inspections, in-process inspections, and final product inspections to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform receiving inspections to verify that incoming products meet customer requirements and specifications.
- Conduct in-process inspections to ensure that production processes are following established procedures and quality standards.
- Perform final product inspections to verify that products meet customer requirements and specifications.
- Identify and document non-conformance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Verify that instruments used for product acceptance are in calibration prior to use.
- Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances per established procedures.
- Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
- Create AS9102 cert packages for FAIRs, when required.
- Create a Detailed Inspection Plan using designated software.
Requirements:
- Ability to understand customer specifications and requirements.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerances as well as blueprint reading.
- Experience with IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and J-STD-001, Certification preferred.
- Skilled using measuring equipment, such as scales, calipers, micrometers, hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.
- Experience with AS9100, and AS9102.
- Knowledge of FAI's, DIP's, and Net Inspect.
- Effective communication skills both oral and written.
- Good organizational skills.
