Lead Barista

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Barista to join our team at The Goat and Morning Ritual. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a great experience while visiting our restaurant and coffee shop.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the barista team members to achieve experience goals and quality standards.
• Participate in recruitment efforts and coordinate on-site coffee shop training initiatives.
• Ensure all guests are managed and greeted appropriately, and support FOH operations between Morning Ritual and Goat as needed.
• Perform audits and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Partner with the management team to approve staffing schedules and document performance issues.

Requirements

• At least two (2) years of restaurant operations experience, with leadership within coffee shop experience strongly preferred.
• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Outstanding customer service and experience delivery skills.
• Previous associate management experience, including assisting with recruitment efforts and inspiring staff through on-going training initiatives.
