Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Columbus, Ohio facility. As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving plant building and grounds, including HVAC systems, plant utility distribution systems, floor, wall and ceiling surfaces, roofs, drain systems, doors, landscaping, weed management and snow removal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve plant building and grounds, including HVAC systems, plant utility distribution systems, floor, wall and ceiling surfaces, roofs, drain systems, doors, landscaping, weed management and snow removal.
  • Perform plant and/or office facilities maintenance duties such as furniture moving, maintenance of office equipment, simple electrical projects, painting or cleaning, light construction or exterior clean up.
  • Perform work in more than one of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical and HVAC, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
  • Preventative maintenance: Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair machines and equipment and report problems to supervisor as appropriate.
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 or more years experience in Industrial Maintenance or Facility Maintenance
  • Must be able to work from heights and ladders
  • PREFERRED: HVAC Universal License
