Job Title: Associate Gas Inspector

Description:

Lancesoft is seeking a highly skilled Gas Utility Inspector to oversee construction projects on Gas Transmission and/or Distribution pipelines, gate stations, district regulator stations, and downgrades. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with company specifications, proper work methods, and appropriate use of facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee construction projects on Gas Transmission and/or Distribution pipelines, gate stations, district regulator stations, and downgrades.
  • Inspect work performed by construction contractors and supervised by Company representatives.
  • Ensure adherence to company specifications, proper work methods, and appropriate use of facilities and equipment.
  • Read and interpret drawings, maps, plans, specifications, and procedures.
  • Keep accurate and detailed field records, including daily job reports, material usage, and locations.
  • Be knowledgeable in the requirements of OSHA and ensure that any job being overseen is maintained in a safe manner.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma and work experience.
  • A minimum of one (1) year prior experience and training in excavation, road, or utility construction with an emphasis on electric installations, plastic pipe installation, welding, and steel pipefitting.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Work Environment:

This is a Temporary to Hire position, and you will be required to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
