Concrete Laborer

About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Concrete General Laborer to join our team at RQ Construction. As a Concrete General Laborer, you will work in a crew environment, performing tasks involving physical labor at construction sites using hand and power tools.

Responsibilities will include assisting other craft workers, cleaning and preparing sites, digging trenches, setting braces for support, erecting scaffolding, cleaning up rubble and debris, and removing other non-hazardous waste materials. You will also operate power construction equipment and maintain all equipment as necessary.

This is a 10-hour a day position, Monday through Thursday, with varying start times and possible overtime.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Two or more years of field or trade work experience in a commercial setting is desired, but not required.
• Spanish-English bilingual skills are desirable.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications are preferred.
• Specific training or certificates in areas such as trenching and shoring, fall protection, confined space, and heavy equipment operation are also preferred.
