Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Strategist to join our team at Buscojobs Puerto Rico. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for implementing new accounting standards, responding to accounting inquiries and audit requests in a timely manner, and preparing supporting schedules for financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement new accounting standards and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC guidelines.
  • Respond to accounting inquiries and audit requests, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Two years of experience in financial statement preparation or auditing, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial information.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of XBRL tagging and SOX control execution.
