Job Summary

At the County of Delaware, PA, we are seeking a highly skilled Program Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing critical support to our Executive Director's office by analyzing data, conducting research, and managing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement plans of action to achieve project goals, working collaboratively with County directors and stakeholders.
  • Manage project lists, including tasks, deadlines, and designated personnel, to ensure timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Conduct research and data analysis to identify best practices and improve County services, examining regional and national sources for insights and inspiration.
  • Communicate effectively with elected officials, administrative staff, and business partners to ensure seamless project coordination and execution.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, updates, and presentations, highlighting key findings and recommendations to inform decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate project files and records, ensuring compliance with County regulations and standards.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as data analysis, research, or project management, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven skills in written and verbal communication, data analysis, and project management, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, report writing, and presentation software, with experience in County office automation and data systems.
  • Fluency in American English, with the ability to travel within the County for meetings and events.
