Machinist 2

Cenergy International is seeking a skilled Machinist 2 to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex machine tools to produce high-quality precision parts and instruments.

• Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and automated Fiber and Tape Placement machines.
• Retrieve and download CNC programs to machine controllers.
• Monitor machine operation for unusual vibration or sounds and adjust machine settings as needed.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in machining or a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with CNC machines and troubleshooting systems is a plus.

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, typically up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
