Pharmacy Technician

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy.

• Assist the pharmacist in the performance of pharmacy duties, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, and the maintenance of accurate records.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate pharmacy systems, including the use of automated dispensing systems, and maintain accurate records of patient information and medication dispensing.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and operating a cash register.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
