Business Intelligence Architect

Uline, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Architect to develop database architecture for business intelligence systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing concepts and methodologies, including Inmon and Kimball.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define BI data architecture, including ETL processes, ODS, EDW, data marts, and data lakes.
  • Build database systems using SQL server, Teradata, Db2, Oracle, and Azure synapse.
  • Utilize data warehousing concepts and methodologies to design and implement business intelligence systems.
  • Collaborate with data architects to ensure logical and physical data models support business analytics needs.
  • Develop design patterns and best practices for business intelligence systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least five years of progressive business intelligence experience.
  • Experience in defining BI data architecture, building database systems, and utilizing data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL server, Teradata, Db2, Oracle, and Azure synapse.
  • Experience with ETL tools, including Informatica and SSIS.
  • Experience with data visualization and analysis tools, including Tableau and Power BI.
