Mentor Technical Group offers a unique opportunity to join our team as a facilities operations manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing building and equipment maintenance schedules, preparing for emergencies, and testing building security systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage building and equipment maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare for emergencies by creating action plans and coordinating responses.
  • Test building security systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Plan future building space and supply needs to optimize resource utilization.
  • Communicate daily with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance and respond to urgent maintenance calls to minimize downtime.
  • Participate in the creation of emergency preparedness plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Review furniture needs and maintain office supply and kitchen areas to ensure they are adequately stocked.
  • Oversee the activities of other facilities coordinators and facilities managers to ensure effective teamwork.
  • Perform cost-benefit analysis to optimize resource allocation.
  • Hire new employees as needed to fill vacancies or meet growing demands.
  • Support investigations and CAPAs to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Include quality calendars, quality plans, EHS plans, self-inspection actions, BMP, C-Seguro actions, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Develop, revise, and/or conduct training for SOPs (quality, EHS, and facilities maintenance).
  • Audit facilities areas for compliance with standards set by the Maintenance, Quality & EHS Owner's Departments.
  • Perform work field inspections and lead required daily/weekly operational meetings.
  • Comply with pest control and refrigerant programs as required.
  • Self and reporting personnel learning plan.
  • Landscaping (building and grounds) program.
  • Support EHS programs and site KPIs development, discussion, and presentation.
  • Support additional areas and programs such as fit and finish, cafeteria, fountains, warehouse, fire system, and elevators as per contract.
  • Support contractor safety program.
