Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Mesa Airlines. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and writing technical documents and data for in-service and heavy-check engineering, maintenance and repair support, and configuration support monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor changes to the manufacturer's maintenance requirements and update maintenance program manuals as applicable.
  • Prepare maintenance program revision submittal approvals for presentation to the IRB and present selected or requested modifications to the IRB for approval.
  • Coordinate documentation and interfaces with the FAA regarding maintenance program revisions and associated issues.
  • Review manufacturer's service bulletins and document incorporation of all Service Bulletins (SBs).
  • Prepare Fleet Campaign Directives (FCDs) and Technical Support Directives (TSDs).
  • Oversee the maintenance program revision process as outlined in the Mesa Airlines, Inc. General Procedures Manual and the applicable Maintenance Program Manual as assigned by the Fleet Manager(s).
  • Ensure that work/task cards accurately describe the scheduled maintenance or routine function.
  • Review regulatory compliance data for incorporation into the maintenance program as required.
Requirements
  • Hold a Mechanic's certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings (preferred).
  • Have a general knowledge of maintenance and inspection programs.
  • Have a general knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
  • Working Knowledge in Window Office suite (Excel, Word).
